2022’s Most Iconic Weddings

As we wrap up 2022, let’s take a look at some of the most influential weddings and dresses of the year.
Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker

One of the most talked about events of the year was none other than Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Wedding.
Held at the gorgeous and luxurious Dolce & Gabbana Villa in Portofino, Italy. The whole Kardashian-Jenner clan was there alongside Travis’ friends and family.
Kourtney wore a custom white lace Dolce and Gabbana corset mini dress with a beautiful veil with a long, flowy train. The entire look was minimal and edgy, yet sophisticated and a unique take on a traditional wedding.
Nicola Peltz Beckham & Brooklyn Beckham

The young couple tied the knot in Palm Beach this past May. The huge wedding had over 500 guests in an oceanfront venue that looked like something out of a Disney princess movie.
It was a star-studded event that spared no expense. Nicola wore a custom Valentino gown. Taking the traditional wedding dress a step further by adding hidden evil eyes and messages from Nicola’s mother Claudia sewn into the skirt and train.
Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck

In a second ceremony, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck said I do in Georgia in August.
The two have children from previous relationships, and this moment was all about bringing two families together.
JLo wore not one, but three custom Ralph Lauren wedding gowns. The first dress was backless, with a turtle neck, and a gorgeous ruffle hem. Mrs. Affleck then changed into a stunning chandelier pearl gown that featured thousands of flowing string pearls. The final look was a silky mermaid dress with a keyhole neckline with Swarovski crystal embellishments.
Frankie Grande & Hale Leon

In a small ceremony in May, Franke Grande and Hale Leon tied the knot in their family home in Boca Raton, Florida.
The original plan was to throw a huge celebration at Disney World in the summer, but since Disney did not take action in the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, they decided to change locations.
The couple both wore Dolce and Gabbana suits. Franke chose a white lace look, while Halo was in black crystals.
Brittany Spears & Sam Asghari

After such a wild ride for Brittany Spears, it is absolutely amazing to see her live her life. Getting married and being supported by her fans and friends, is so heartwarming and special.
The couple had an intimate ceremony held at her old property in Thousand Oaks, California.
Brittany wore a gorgeous, custom Versace gown that made her look like an absolute princess.
Ne-Yo & Crystal Renay

In their second marriage together, Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay tie the knot in Vegas.
The reception was filled with over 10,000 roses and took three days to completely set up. The cake was 8 feet tall and consisted of 4 different flavors.
Ne-Yo opted for a classic gray and black suit with a bow tie, while Crystal went for a beautiful white gown. Renay was more than 8 months pregnant with their first child.
Billie Lourd & Austen Rydell

In March Billie Lourd and Austen Rydell wed in an intimate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas.
The Scream Queens and American Horror Story alumn wore a custom off-the-shoulder gown from Rodarte.
Billie wore her mom’s engagement ring that her husband, Austen, reset. Billie’s mom is superstar Carrie Fisher, who unfortunately passed in 2016.
Chloë Sevigny & Siniša Mačković

The icon Chloë Sevigny said her I do’s to the art gallery director, Siniša Mačković.
After two years together, the couple got hitched in a private courthouse ceremony and also welcomed their first child together this year.
Sevigny showcased her fabulous style in multiple bridal looks. She walked the aisle in a sheer ruffle dress from Glenn Marten’s Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture. For the reception, she switched into a Loewe short white dress with a square neckline. Her final outfit change was a lacy, skin-tight, bell-bottomed catsuit with a sheer bustier and turtleneck cover-up by Mugler’s Casey Cadwallader.
Bria Murphy & Michael Xavier

Comedian Eddy Murphy’s beautiful daughter walked the aisle and wed her actor fiance Michael Xavier in Beverly Hills.
In an afternoon ceremony, the couple said their I do’s in front of 250 friends and family.
Murphy’s gown was a stunning off-the-shoulder lace moment designed by Netta BenShabu.
